God's love reaches so wide and so deep it spans continents and oceans; His love reaches into the very depths of every man's heart. Jesus said in the book of Matthew 28:18-20:

All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.

God's heart is to reach the lost with the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He longs to set all people free from the bondage of sin, regardless of gender, race, nationality or social class. In addition to reaching the world by declaring the Gospel, God desires to touch the world through ministries of compassion. In doing so, we are following Jesus' example as demonstrated in Matthew 14:14:

And when Jesus went out He saw a great multitude; and He was moved with compassion for them, and healed their sick.

At Calvary Chapel In The City, we seek to fulfill Jesus' Great Commission through missions dedicated to: i) ministering compassion to the lost and needy and ii) sharing God’s beautiful plan of salvation.

Our desire is to support and encourage fellow disciples of Jesus Christ, both home and abroad, who are serving on the mission field. We co-minister along side of our supported missionaries through financial support, site visits, frequent communication, and most importantly, through frequent corporate and personal prayer. We pray for a rich harvest of souls and that many would experience God's merciful love through ministries of compassion. We pray that many would come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and continue to grow in their personal relationships with Him.

Ministries we support:

· Open Air Campaigners is an evangelistic ministry dedicated to preaching the Gospel to lost people and mobilizing the body of Christ primarily through effective open-air outreach.

· A Woman's Concern provides complete, accurate information and compassionate peer-counseling to women and couples who are making decisions about unintended pregnancies.

· Intervarsity Christian Fellowship is a evangelical organization that seeks to strengthen and grow Christian communities in local colleges and universities through witnessing, discipleship and missions.

· Iglesia Cristiana Koinonia – church and other outreaches in and around Lima, Peru, led by missionaries Pastor Brian and Betty VanderKodde. The church is dedicated to spreading the Gospel to the lost in Peru. It is a Latin American Missions Center and church to house visiting teams.

· Calvary Chapel, Port-au-Prince, Haiti – Seige Poteau was released in early 2007 by Calvary Chapel, Melbourne to start a Calvary Chapel in Port-au-Prince, Haiti.

· Chapel Missions – a ministry of Calvary Chapel, Boise, is an outreach ministry which oversees both short-term and long-term missions around the globe, with a particular emphasis on orphanages and church planting in India.

· Boston Rescue Mission – located in downtown Boston, is a ministry dedicated to assisting the homeless by providing the basic life necessities such as food and shelter. They also have a social services program for those interested in becoming sober and getting off the streets.
